Annelies holds a master degree in Modern History and started her career in IP in 2006. By having worked in both industry and private practice, she can rely on a thorough knowledge of patent, trademarks and designprocedures. In 2017 she graduated as Certified Formalities Officer with the Dutch Formalities Platform. As a member of the IP Department at Mithra Pharmaceuticals, she handles the international patent and trademark portfolio in collaboration with the IP Manager.
Maud began her professional career in 1998 as a Paralegal at Kirkpatrick, where she was handling the patent- and supplementary protection certificate files (SPC). In 2004, she joined the technology-transfer company of the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL/Sopartec), where she was responsible for the administration of the University’s patent portfolio, before joining the firm Abyoo in 2008, first as a paralegal, and then as Office Manager from 2016 to 2023.
In September 2023, she choose to strengthen the paralegals team at De Clercq & Partners.
Maud passed the European Patent Administrator Certificate of the European Patent Office (EPAC) in 2022.
Martine worked for 26 years in the multinational PPG coatings, in various departments such as sales, invoicing, customer accounting and finally general accounting. After the closure of the general accounting department of PPG, she moved to the IP world almost 10 years ago. She started career as a formality officer at LC patents, which has been acquired by Arnold & Siedsma in July 2020. Arnold & Siedsma is specialized in intellectual property rights. From the filing of patents to the registration and protection of brands, models and other rights.
After studying modern languages (English-Dutch-German), Jean-Marc started his professional career in March 1998 with the IP firm Kirkpatrick as patent paralegal. With 25 years expertise in patent procedures, he now manages patent portfolio’s and patent procedures (BE, NL, LU, EP, FR & PCT) within a team of 5 paralegals. He helped developing the Chinese market for more than 12 years and started learning Chinese language in April 2021. He is also training the new paralegals at Kirkpatrick.
Jean-Marc passed the European Patent Administrator Certificate of the European Patent Office (EPAC) in 2022.
